Hey guys - i have a drum that im buying in the states but im located in australia - the guy wont ship to australia though. The cheapest i can do it is $200!!!

I dont know how much it would cose with usps but even if i found out i dont have anyone who could forward it for me!

Would anyone be willing to forward it on to me if i obviously paid all the shipping?

And how can i get a usps quote? The box dimensions would be roughly as follows:

19" x 19" x 13" and weigh about 10 pounds. Im in 3145 melbourne australia.

Please help! You'd forever be my drummer in shining armour!

last time i checked ups wanted 750 big ones for some drums its to much gas man i sent a guitar body and it cost 95 usps the cheapest

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

According to the USPS calculator, it will cost $226.00 to ship a box the size and weight that you specified. That's US dollars. You might want to go with the $200. carrier.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I would be willing to help you out.But just have a question the box size seems big for a snare drum .What size is the drum? If the drum is 5.5 or 6.5" deep head size is 14" the box size should be for a 5.5 deep drum box size should be like 8" deep say the drum is 6.5 deep then a box 9" deep will do..On a 14" head size box should be 16" by 16" ..Post office would be the cheapest way to shipped..You can check the price at www.usps.com.....Mikey

Mikey's right about the box sizes.. & USPS should be between 90 & 120 Usd.

Is it a snare & where in the US is it located..

Cheers

$90 usd!!! That would be a drrreeaaaam.

And nah it isnt a snare shell, I think its an old 18" concert tom.

Yeah see! I would have thought it would have been around 90 to ship as well. But a lot of the quotes say its 200. :-((((

Ps. Mikey - did you get that money?
