attached should be a copy of my 1967 ludwig psychedelic red kit-I have had this kit since my mom bought it for me way back when and the wrap is all original as is everyting else with the kit. The supraphonic snare has a date stamp in it of nov 3 1967 and a serial number of 552367. the question of the day is that the kit comes with a 14 in floor tom which someone told me is a rare configuration-can someone weigh in on that. thanks

A 14" FT in that wrap is indeed a rare bird. Looks like a 12-14-20. Very nice!
Big pat on the back for ya, for keeping it so long. Nice kit!

That is a really cool kit! Anybody would love to have it.
This kit has tremendous sentimental value as I have taken this with me everywhere and always have it set up-took it on a gig to Gloucester last year and got a lot of compliments on it. It was its first public appearance since 1981.
I think my mom paid $150 for it and it included, which I still have, is a heavy 21 in Zildjian ride from that era-that cymbal weighs a ton!
The kit also reminds me of my 86 year old drum teacher who I still keep in touch with and chat with him every couple of weeks to see if he needs anything-great guy, great friend, great teacher who is still teaching in his basement studio where the drum set I learned on has not moved an inch in over 45 years!! I think it is a 1958 Ludwig set in natural finish
So I'm sorry. . . How much are these again? :p
Nice! And your mom is great!!
Psych Red Downbeat---very nice. Don't see those every day.....marko
Nice Psych Red Downbeat kit, Coley. I occasionally play a mint 1968 20/12/14 /Jazz Fest in that color... Great drums. I had it at a Chicago Show set up next to an identical 1967 set which I sold, minus the Jazz Fest... She was going to use a Supra with the kit. I only know of a few of the 20/12/14 versions.
