Playing drums and automatic watches Last viewed: 6 hours ago

I wear a big "Flav-a-Flav" gold clock around my neck on a big Gold Chain...except mine has the old style bells on top that I utilize during solos. The chain is also multi-functional, because I can walk my Pitt-bull in the hood on it when not performing. To make sure that this is a Vintage comment, I also replaced the background of the clock with a calfskin (tucked) head & use a couple vintage RK 3-point strainer levers as clock arms!

As a child, Dick Tracy and others convinced me that by the time I reached adulthood, everyone would have phones in their watches, but in fact the opposite occurred. So now if I need to know the time I check my phone.

since I always play at exactly 60 bpm, I like to use my second hand for a metronome. Not only do I have to wear my watch but also play "palms down" so I can see the sweep.

Oh, at least one watch for each wrist too so I don't get stuck staring at 1 wrist all the time...

OH! and... PIE!

I have to leave, I'm tone deaf...

> Do you own a Rolex?

I'll tell you Bunny, I accidentally locked my Rolex inside of my Maserati and I seem to have misplaced the keys to the car somewhere on my Lazarra Luxury yacht. Next time I fly the G5 down to Rio De Janeiro where the ship is anchored, I'll look for the keys.

I never wear my Rolex while playing anyway. I have an assistant in a Tuxedo who sings out the hour and minute of the day every sixty seconds.

Do you have a human clock?

LOL

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I believe deeply that it's time we change the freekin' locks on this houzzzzze. There are some very unsavory characters that seem to have wandered in. Our watches are in danger of being stolen.

The locks will soon be changed.....
