Nice. AU$2000 US$2012. Not cheap, but not bad for Europe. Do you know what the snare is? or the cymbals? Pictures are . . . not clear! What about that Dutch bloke at vintagedrumjunkies.com? You'd think he'd be all over these like - a vintage drum junkie on wine red ripple ;-)
is that a dyna there a rogers holiday there for 4k euros
The ad says little to nothing.
"1960's in good condition"
What would a kit like that be worth in today's market?
You think I should go and have a look at it ?
Here's the link,...
I'm no Rogers expert.. only ever owned a few.. but this seems a little overpriced to me..Cymbals may be a clincher though.. if they are top of line..
Cheers
Once again, trout's 'inverse law of marketing' comes to the fore. The seller wants $2000 for a drum kit and seals the deal by taking pictures with a Nintendo DSI, whilst dancing to Herman's Hermits.

I've seen it many times, especially on non-Ebay listings but very often that's also where the opportunity lies.
Crappy pictures are not appealing and therefor do not attract a big crowd.
Add to that an unexperienced sellers, no info and you could have the magic cocktail.
The only thing it takes is to call the seller, jump into your car and start your negotiation,...
It helps of course to live in an overpopulated country with the size of a post stamp, practically everything is within 60 minutes drive.
In this case, the seller appears to be a "selleres" what could also help. ( How many female experts on vintage drums do you know,..?!)
wonder what the cymbals are coming with the kit..
I would buy them, but then Im partial to Wine Red Ripple Pearl. Offer up a grand and see what happens. Ya never know if ya dont ask.
