Help Identify a Tama Snare???

I picked this up at a garage sale, and can't figure out if it is vintage, new,etc... It measures about 14" x 10", black finish inside and out (made of wood). Any help anyone can offer would be AWESEOME!!! Thanks!!

I would say an old Artwood snare or an Artstar from around 1986-1989/90 but I am not sure. It looks nice. How does it sound?

But - according to the strainer I would say that your snare might rather be an early 80´s than of the end of the decade. As far as I know, the later strainers were swinging out to the side (at least the two Tamas I own of the end 80´s era have these).

Ah, I see. My assumption was wrong. So the two snares I have are an Artwood and a Solid Maple, and both have the other straining mechanism that I mentioned above.

Thank you, latzanimal, for teaching me this;)! Although I had seen that brochure before, i didn´t notice the different systems on the snares...
