I've never heard or seen such a beast. also It's not listed in any of my 60's or 70's ludwig catalogs, and I was playing atlas hardware during that time and had a ghost bass drum pedal which to this very day I hated that thing, went to a speed king which was and is king. then to a premier 252 pedal in the 80's it was ok.

i had bought the ghost hi hat new with the matching pedal and a used gretch 3 piece jazz set. i personally think they(pedals) both play alike, with adjustment the ghost is a tad more responsive although i'm using my WFL speed king now,

the base and guitar player bought new Dan Armstrong's by Ampeg at the same time this was in 1971 we gigged all the local bars back then, some schools a few concerts, all in the farm belt

I have to say that this is a new one on me, and I've been a drum gear junky since around '70. I've never heard of or seen a Ghost Hi-Hat pedal. I'd like to see a picture of one.

jr, brother, can you Imagine how rare this is??, from the originals posters time line Bob ramsey's 1951 patent on the original ghost pedal which looks nothing like ludwig's version, then ludwig started selling them in 1978-1983, and yet he owned this HI HAT pedal in the late 60's early 70's??

Never actually heard of the brand "Power Sonic" (I HAVE seen Powersonic cymbals, made by Meinl), judging by the minute pix, I can tell you that the footboard and heel are from the Gretsch Floating Action/ original Camco pedals. The rest of it almost looks like a Slingerland Dynamo Hi-Hat, and I've seen that bottom section with the spurs as well, somewhere else. Do you have higher-rez pics?
