I bought a few drums pieces today. I got this 14x14 floor tom. It is a re wrap job. I think it may be japanese. I also got a 16x16 that I think is a Ludwig that is also a rewrap but had all Ludwig hardware on it still. A date stamp inside that said October 22 1970. Both are rewrapped BDP. Not a great wrap job but not awful. I also picked up a Ludwig bass drum that someone did a completely terrible wrap job on and they drill an old pearl double stand onto it. That shell basically looks like swiss cheese but there were 20 classic lugs on there and 10 claws and t rods and a wood hoop. The other side had these claws and t rods on there (see pic below). They looked like slingerland to me at first but not so much after seeing them closer. Can anyone tell me more about these? Thanks
Is this Japanese? Last viewed: 3 minutes ago

Yes to both of your question's.The floor tom by the lug's look's to be made by under pearl's name could have been 100 name's on it so i don't have a name. Also the floor tom leg mount's look like Camco-1960's- to me a better photo eould tell me..If the set is 3-5 ply with ring's it would date the drum late 60's to mid 70's,if the shell is 9 ply with no ring's it's after the mid 70's..The T-rod's and claw's are from the 80's again M.I.J. most likey by Pearl....Mikey
Mikey, I agree. The first thing I noticed in the picture was the similarity of the leg mounts. If they aren't Camco, the look just like them. If they are Camco, the mounts could very well be worth more than the drum!
Anyone need these? I am not a camco guy so if anyone needs these please PM me and we can work something out. I would just put original Japanese parts on there if it meant someone can put original parts with original shells. Let me know.
They look like Slingerland lugs, what does the inside of the shell look like?
Heres a couple more pics. You can see someone was trying to get the right spot for the floor tom brackets. I also noticed there is no spot for a muffler inside the shell. Wouldn't the Slingerland lugs have 3 lines on them? Where these only have 2?

I just pulled out a Slingy small lug and low and behold these match perfect!
The plot thickens. As I pulled off the beater side head I see that the re ring is missing. Whoever did it did an amazing job! It is SUPER clean! Plus a couple shots of the rims. Are these sticksavers also?
