Expired without a bid - seems fairly priced right? I emailed the seller, since I live about 2 hours away, and asked if the price was firm and he responded back "No wiggle room...we're GIVING IT AWAY at $725.00!"

$725 is not "giving it away". Seems like a fair price. If the snare is a single-ply snare, then it would be a deal.

I'm thinking $500 to $600

$600 is a fair price for the toms and bass. Another $250 for the snare. That's in my neck of the woods, though. But, $500 for EVERYTHING from a STORE?!?!?!? Fat chance...

You'll see a lot of auctions go without bids if the seller's unwilling to ship. There are probably plenty of eBay buyers who'd take this kit, but simply don't live near the seller.

This may stir the pot more than i intend it too, but I dont see why the extra holes are such a big deal. In fact, you might try to use them as a bit of a bargaining tool. If you are looking for a reasonably priced players kit (including a snare), this seems like it could be one. Those cymbal mount holds could be filled without too much effort probably.

Just my two cents,

Hey guys, you veered off onto a goat path. There are no extra holes. There is just a missing cymbal mount. Read it again.

Those are just very nice drums in a popular vintage color.Extra holes and unfilled original holes are not the same.....I would not call it "giving it away"either.
