I don`t think anyone wants to see Ludwig close it`s doors or stop being inovative !! You wont find a carbourator on the 09 mustang,...Right !! Yes ,.the poppy did a fine job and his topic was in the correct forum. If I went to the non USA forum and posted Wow,..look at these brand new re-issue Sound Machines,..they`re just like mine,....I`d get the same cannon pointed at me. But if I put it in the general talk section,...I might get a conversation going !!

In America we say shoot first and ask questions later,...kinda what happened here,...

And for real,...If that drum is a perfect copy of the 64,...it`s a cancer, I can`t tell but many here can, but I doubt Ludwig would make it so close.

My intention was never to compare the two versions, but to show that Ludwig is not dead , it continues to make cool stuff, and how it was with a finish that was in the 60s i wonder that here it would be a good place to post

Because as well the citrus , orange and others finish in the future it may be that this finish come to be sold, and all of us who love vintage drums can make a project like poppy , with black galaxy...

and come on... there is no sense to put a carburator in a 09 mustang ( yes my 68 hardtop have a 650 cmf Holley Carburetor )
