WOW!! Anyone seen this?
I haven't.
Really surprised to see them here, too..........:)

I see those bass drum spurs and I immediately look the other way. They might be put together in America....maybe the shells are American made. All I'm saying is that they don't look like American made drums...because anything with those spurs screams Chinese-made-component, to my eye. It's one of the first things I look for on any new drum set. I'm not even saying they are "bad" drums. I'm sure they are very nice and all.... But this is a vintage drum forum and those are obviously new drums even from 100 feet away.*Edit* Okay, the big bass drum spurs look cool. The claws and key rods, do NOT! And, are those GASKETS under the lugs? SHAME! :)
haha. Nice drums, but I agree, probably not the place for em.
Well it is relevant because they're using the exact duplication Black Galaxy Wrap from the VINTAGE wrap. They're "reproductions." However, if you want to put them on a website that wouldn't have its members telling you that it isn't appropriate, I'm sure the Drumforum.org would be willing to oblige you.
No returns,...no warantee,...no stand behind the product,..no sales to Singapore, Indo. ect.,...no more rare finish, due to popular demand,... worked closely with Ludwig
...No thanks !!
It`s got something written all over it !!
Ebay says someday you might get your money back ..."IF"....
Youth will jump all over this !!
Yeah, DFO is very much "pro" new Ludwig. They had some Ludwig PR guys join their forum and it made them feel special. Now, because of that, anything new from Ludwig is beyond reproach there. Personally, I'm glad there isn't any of the commercial bias like that, here. We don't need to help any major drum companies sell products...and they don't need our help either. I realize this wasn't the intention of the OP. I'm just sayin'...
Hey, I wanted Ludwig to remain being THE American drum company, too! But....well...American manufacturing is currently owned by China...and now so-called "American-made" products look Chinese as a result.
This forum isn't a marketing tool for new products and if the Ludwig guys came here, then I would say the same thing to them, too...and I wouldn't get banned for it, either! lol! ;)
A simple mathamatical equation:
Quality X Class; divided by: Older than Ludwig = SONOR !!
There are soooo many fine Ludwig drums here that deserve the title vintage,...No place for fuel injected, electronic breaking, power window show-offs` with no time under the head !!
Spammers beware,...or I`ll put your head in the HiHat and step on it !!
First, I'm not spammers, I live in Brazil, so there is no reason to advertise,
Although an extremely difficult thing to do living in Brazil, I collect drums, and up till now I have about 16 kits, among Ludwigs( vsitas, stainless, mpm,), gretschs, slingerlands, and others (which are not made in America, sonor, yamaha, Premier) and I have no Ludwig classic maple, not even a Ludwig 6 ply. only 3 ply. but I´m a ludwig guy, I'm happy with the way that Ludwig has taken in recent years, with the classic maple, and now the legacy, and are returning several finishes that ever, everyone dreamed to have, and now can, as the citrus, orange mode,Psychedelic Red and now black galaxy, I do not believe that just because the black galaxy now be available, what is one of most collectible vintage will not be ... always will be! are different things.
I remind everybody that if not for these colors have returning by Ludwig, today would not be able to make Restoring such as what the poppy79424 is doing in your standart kit (congratulations was perfect)
The impression I have is that many people want that ludwig close the doors, because even if the legacy ( i konw that its a classic maple line here , but you can order a Le*** with black galaxy ) with a rare finishes, are successful, what has to be done ? Close the doors ?
I love my mustang 64 hardtop, but I quite like the new Mustang, and I am very happy that Ford is not closed, and that did not stop manufacturing the Mustang.
I do not think that was posted in the wrong place, my intention was to show that Ludwig is still doing cool things with fine quality and are made in america .
