Hey Opti, don't let their veiled jealousy bother you. Congrats on a fine find. To be honest, I hope you keep them but if you do sell them please let me know. That is the creme-de-la-creme of Gretsch, my favorite color and something must be going right for you.

This sounds like a bad trade for Optikdrummer, as the new set is in the for sale section for $2600.00 ( which is probably overpriced for a used, newer set)

and the vintage set is probably worth twice that. Keep the vintage and play your butt off. Uncle would have wanted it that way.

Why would he want a 22" BD with a 14 FT kit? Needs a 16" in there.
