I would say that it is not Slingerland, or any american made drum set. More than likely, you have a "Made in Japan kit". Those can be really cool drum...

That is one beautiful kit. I've never had good luck at Pawn Shops on vintage drums. I hope you did well. They all seem to think anything made earlier...
