Mint means like new, right out of the factory, no scratches or even marks on the drum heads. Look up mint in the dictionary. Nowadays folks call nice...

I put cymbal crowns on my 8mm stands and sanded down the post with a grinding wheel so the old Ks would fit.

Seems there was a period around '64 when Ludwig sent out a bunch of these sets...20, 13, 16 with double mufflers and club date style spurs. Nice set.
