What device do you have? I can only give advise if you are using an i pad. Took me a bit to work it out.

Chears, I have been lubricating them ( ocasionaly) with 3 in 1 oil, would you clean them with wd40 then put 3 in 1 on. Also I've seen drum tension rod...
