Thanks for the comment. The bottom hoop is stamped 'Super Sensitive'. Not sure what the differentiation was from a 'Super Ludwig'.

Out of interest is this snare (pictured) likely to be a 2-piece soldered shell. It's hard to tell from the photo.

Hi and thanks very much for the helpful reply. Obviously the drum is newer than I thought which might also explain its condition.
