Awesome job. Looks great! I would make up spurs from hardware stock. Bend them the way it suits you and the drum. I would buy proper size tension rods...

I have 2 Jazzfest snares that measure 5" and one that measures 5 3/8". I call it a 5 1/2".

Sorry, can't help you after all. the lugs on my drum are very short and require a 3-3/8" to 3-1/2" tension rods (which I don't have on hand) in order...
