Early 1950's. The value is hard to quantify because its pretty darned heavy. My guess is that it would this one wouldn't be too much in demand.

If you'll check out the Memphis Drum Shop site now, they have video demonstrations of these cymbals. I got a pretty good look at the trademark on one...
