Oh man, to muddy the waters even more, I think there may have even been some kind of Hoshino (Kougyou) / Pearl connection. I've seen a Crown drum wit...

Unique MIJ stuff on ebay-Pictures

Unless someone can prove me wrong, by best (somewhat educated) guess is that this is an early Pearl made set. Both Star and Pearl made thin 3 ply she...

Expert help needed to identify this vintage $25 5-piece auction score. Thanks!!!!!!!!

Lugs look like the Hoshino 'shark tooth' design. But who made Hoshino??? Pearl? Star? Evidence has been found that points to both. So... Just cu...

Apollo Deal?

help I.D. these drums- I'm assuming they're MIJ

I think I have to disagree with Ralf on this one. I think these are early Pearl made drums. The lugs look like Pearl's version of the Soundking desi...

Can anybody identify these old drums?

Yep, like the pedal, these are Pearl, or at least Pearl made drums. They look like an early 80s set, maybe late 70s. The lugs are the give away.
