i bought recently a 10 lug brass slingerland silver niles badge snare drum that has a supersensitve snare system , where you can adjust the tension from both ends of the wires, its the only one ive ever seen and i cant find any info on it on the net , the supersensitive system does not have a snare rail over it just tensioneras at either end and both ends of it have a large "s" shaped like the way slingerland writes their s on the parts, looks to be all original,its not rigged on from another drum or the such , i just couldnt resist buying it at a store cause for one id never seen this system on a slingerland snare, it was 10 lug , and brass, and vintage. black and silver niles with serial number badge.
