Does anyone know if a Ludwig Super Classic snare bed is different than the snare bed on a snare with a P-83 strainer?

Good question and I have a WFL with a Super Classic Strainer and had a jazz fest with a p-83.

I never really looked at the beds that close. So which do you have and we can get a few guys to do a measurement or two.

That is if Ludwig was exact in cutting beds and the different years the drums were made.

Let us know which you have?
