Hmm, now that is something! I have never seen that color before! Between those and a clear set, I'd say are my favorite finishes.

Here's the story behind these. Believe it or not, I found them last July at a church garage sale. Yes, that's right, a garage sale! They had been donated to the church about 25 years ago and were stored in the music room ever since. The new minister wanted to "clean house" and I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. There are actually 6 drums in the kit. It's the "Pro Beat" set up: matching 5x14 snare, 13x9 & 14x10 rack toms, 16x16 & 16x18 floors, and 14x24 kick. They didn't look quite like they do now when I found them. I spent about 2 months doing a complete restoration. I put the matching snare and 13" tom in retirement for now and switched to a 6.5x14 Supra.

In case you're wondering, I got all 6 drums for $250

beautiful. a find like that will get you hooked on rummaging every basement garage attic and barn within a 100 mile radius. fine job.

There is a set of these at my favorite pawn shop, 5 piece.. $2700.
