Very impressive restore job.
How did they make a copy of the lug?
Casting, mold, pot metal?
I liked reading the posts of the gentleman who worked at Beverly.
Thanks SA=GGD

He had a man make a mold using an original lug and then cast brass replacements that are much stronger looking than the originals which were pot metal.

Hello,

This is my first post on here so apologise if I'm doing anything wrong.

I just wondered if it was possible to get some of these lugs?
I have the same snare and need some more lugs as the others have broke.

Thanks,
Jacob.

hi Jacob
maybe send me a PM and I'll put you in touch with the person who got me the lugs. They were a small run made by a retired engineer so no idea if he'd do more. You'd need to then chrome plate them and if it's a brass shell like mine you have to cut out the piece to accommodate the bead. Got a pic of your drum?

That is an amazing restoration....I would never think that drum came out of the 30's. It looks very modern.

Congratulations.
