I played them, I loved them, but now they gotta go unfortunately...
All from the 1940s:
14x28 bass drum
Streamline cigar lugs, cloud badge, hoops repainted in black lacquer (the photos that show red hoops were before they were painted) inlay is 90-95% intact, 4 original holes for trap table. Spurs not included. Nickel-plated hardware. Very yellowed marine pearl, no cracks in wrap. Brand new Renaissance Powerstroke and Fiberskyn heads.
9x13 tom
Large beavertail lugs, original mount bracket & clamp, internal muffler, no badge (it never had one), no engraving on hoops, double-flanged hoops. White marine pearl in very good condition. Nickel hardware. New Fiberskyn on batter side, new Evans G1 bottom. (Snare stand shown is not included)
16x16 floor tom
Small beavertail lugs, hoop clips (one is cracking), no badge (it never had one), single-flanged hoops engraved "Slingerland Radio Kings", older Ludwig brackets & legs, mufflers intact. White marine pearl, seam lift recently repaired w/epoxy. Two of the lugs are chrome, the rest are nickel. New Fiberskyn on batter side, new Evans G1 bottom.
All the shells are in great shape -- no separation or cracks, bearing edges are original with no issues. Looking to sell as a complete kit. More pics are available for serious buyers.
$1200 + whatever shipping works out to be for your USA location (The 14x28 may be an adventure to ship!). Or come pick em up in Virginia.
I hate to see them go, as I've put a lot of work and love into them, but a recent layoff is causing me to sell off some stuff. :(
