Hello VDF! Time to sell my 50's Slingerland Gene Krupa Deluxe drumset and I'm gonna try here before going to the dreaded feebay. This kit is a beaut' with a single ply snare, nickel hardware, badd drum mount L cymbal arms (second one is not pictured), 22/13/16 sizes, bass drum hoop mount muffler, original calf skin heads on snare top, bass drum and floor tom and white marine pearl wrap! Hardware is in great condition with very little signs of aging. Wrap has slight ginger ale. There is a spot on the bottom of the bass drum that is discolored. You guys probably know some tricks that might remove it. The bass drum has two cymbal stand mounts, one is complete and the other is missing a couple of mount parts. The snare stand is broken but might be fixable. Here's a link to a bunch of pictures; http://s668.photobucket.com/albums/vv47/marvinworks/GK%20Deluxe/

$1300 + shipping

Feel free to ask questions and request further pics. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had a kit like that close to 25 years ago, except mine had 1955-56 "dogtag" badges, Beavertail lugs and a 3 point snare strainer.........

Hard to find a Slinger kit in nice shape and WMP that's not all yellowed.singer

I have the same set up from 1963-64. Those Slingys are really nice and very warm sounding.
