Premier Resonator black shadow ?

I bought this drum kit wich is supposed to be a Premier Resonator.

It only as the Premier badge. Not the Resonator under . Probably some do , some dont ... I think the first ones didn't have it ... wich would mean it's a 1983 ( the year they came out ) or arround that.

Could you guys help me identify it please ?

Yes, it's a Premier Black Shadow – Premiers top of the line with resonator shells.

Why is that shell black??? Most all of the resonator shells were just wood. I don't get it ...

83-86 I'd say look like an early one 83/84. I had one just like it – I just trade it on the other day. Heres a pic.

Thanks man ! I'm thinking of a power stroke 3 for the bass drum and probably Evans G2 for the tom ! What did you put on yours ?

Powerstroke bass is a good call, actually coated ambs work really well on the toms.
