Here they are with one coat of shaded lacquer. They're still too light so I'm going to give them a few more I think.

Jeff, that`s a beautiful job. Be sure to put them by the pool for their finished pose. It`s somehow customary around here.

No pool here, never will be either. But your right those pool photos are pretty.

Right now we are sorting through the inserts and rods to make the set complete. Looking at purchasing new inserts and rods but how will we know if they will work in the old MIJ (Slingerland Style) lugs? Anyone ever done this?

I would imagine the screw machine, (prolly Brown and Sharp), that made those t-rods, mass produced them for all the MIJ drum companies.
