Yes it is.
I wasn't planning on buying a drum... I had three, the original WMP I purchased within days of the Chicago Show introduction, the BDP I bought in February when on the hunt for number 1171 (it isn't), and the Piano Black Gloss Lacquer that was irresistible. So, when the three prototype snares were brought out in Fresno and due to the number of people at the show, purchase was contingent on having ones name drawn from a hat. I don't know how many were in the hat, but four names were drawn and one declined.
