Default Early P-83?

Hey, guys! I recently purchased what I think to be a 40's- 50's Ludwig marching drum. Keystone badge. Six lugs. Mahogany body. It hasn't arrived yet. What I'm wondering is this: The strainer seems like an early P-83 without the lever or throw off handle. There are ten holes at the bottom to accept the string of the snare wires. Is this an early form of the P-83 strainer? Is it classified as something else? Thanks!
Brian

Its a standard generic strainer for marchers. Probably by W&A as I have a WFL, a Ludwig, a Slingerland, and a Gretsch with the same strainer. All it has is a tension knob. Not sure if its in the catalog or not.

Thank you VERY much for the information, sir! I am no Ludwig expert for sure but, I am trying to learn. Your information is very much appreciated!
