Default Can anyone help identify this drum?

I found this at a Goodwill recently for $8. I'm going to go over it in detail later today but there's not alot to go on. Hoping the strainer might shed some clues. A few stamps on the inside but as you can see they are pretty faded. Thanks in advance!

I'm leaning toward an early 20's or earlier Leedy or Duplex model.
The 12 claw hooks looks very early as they have no flattened "lip" on either side to prevent gouging the wood hoop.
Obviously missing the bottom hoop and someone has mounted the head and snares incorrectly. The original bottom hoop would have a slight cut-out on either side to align the snares.

I'm going to guess Duplex, but I'm not sure about that. I had a chance to buy an ancient Duplex snare drum years ago and walked away, as I had no practical application for it. The seller wanted over $100. Of course, if I found one for $8, I would buy it just because.

Back in the 20's there were all kinds of shops making instruments. It will be hard to determine the maker.

See if a 14" head fits the bottom of the drum. It may not. There wasn't a real standard back then.

It's 13x3.25. Took the head off. Head seems to be original. Also has snare beds and pencil marks still from when they were cut. Rounded bearing edges on both sides. Here are some more pics with the head off.

Do you see it here ?

https://www.bostondrumbuilders.com/ditson

And example of where it may have come from. Many of these type of companies existed.

SONOR made those hooks, top and bottom, that throw as well, but their rods are totally threaded and never had a round stamp inside. It was a triangle.

Duplex had those rods, hooks, but not that throw and had round stamps badges and insignia. Lyon and Healy made those rods, hooks but never that throw and had round stamps inside.

It is difficult to nail it, is there any stamps or pat. numbers on the throw. maybe inside the top hook,..on the butt plate ?
