Default Ludwig snare 15x6,5 serial number: 7463 - Identification

Todays find:

Ludwig snare from December 1963 with Keystone without R badge, red felt baseball bat tone control, white resa-cote interior finish....

Can someone confirm that this is authentic and the name of the snare (could be auditorium modell)
And approx value?

Thanks...

Everything looks right as far as I can see. Low serial number matches with stated date. Not really any reason for someone to "fake" something like this. Mahogany finish was a lower cost option to wrapped finishes. I have the same drum, but pre-serial with a knob muffler.

I think that is a "Auditorium" snare. I picked up one of those years ago for a silly price, cleaned it up and sold it for a nice profit, but of course now I wish I had kept it.

You can't have too many snare drums.

Yes, it's a legitimate Auditorium. Basically a 6.5" Jazz Festival. Have never looked into value, as I don't have any plans to sell my '59 version.
