Default magnum drums made in taiwan
I have a set of blue drums that say magnum on the side and made in taiwan under it. I'm missing the 13in rack tom and arm for it. Anyone know where I would be able to find just a 13in tom and the arm for my kit?

jaj- you may not get many responses. This is a vintage drum forum and MIT drums don't come through or get discussed very often. Maybe a member will have an MIT orphan in their stash to help you out with.

Thanks, I took them to a drum shop near me and he said they were late 70's possibly early 80's. I'm starting to get desperate cuz its my only kit and I'm hurting for a 13. How do I go about finding a orphan MIT on the forum? Just wait for a reply on this thread?

There are a couple of guys that trade in MIJ/Asian stuff. If one of them sees your post and has something for you, they will respond. If not...

Good luck finding your tom...

Yes-please post pictures of the set for dimensions, color, mount and lug design. It could be a standard MIT Pearl based 7/8 tube mount drum that many drum brands could be a replacement.

Those style drums are very common.MIT Pearl stencil drums with hex-rod mounts and Pearl style lugs.I would not be surprised if there are 1/2 dozen sets of various colors on 3bay right now,and orphan pieces are common, too.Royce,CB 700,Cortley-the list goes on.You should have no trouble finding a 13"-good luck.
