Default Tama Rockstar Pro Drums

I may be picking up this Tama kit, but I need some information. The badges say made in Japan, what year could they be? There's also a 6.5x14 Artwood snare that looks to be around the same era. I believe it's a birch shell.
He wants $370 with a bunch of stands, a kick pedal and hard cases for toms.
10x12, 11x13, 16x16, 16x22.

Made in Japan should be good. No idea of year but based on extra depth Id say late eighties to early 90s maybe?

Artwood was the top line when it was around. I bet that snare is worth the ask for the whole kit...

J!m is spot on. Looks like a good deal, unless you have a mind to flip. Snare will be excellent, although I believe they still offered die casts and roller bearings on these shells, so it may not technically be top-shelf. Perhaps this was the Rockstar Pro kit snare. Those shells are beautiful.

Tama only moved most of there production to China around 2010, so they haven't been there to long. I'd say your chances of finding a MIJ Tama kit are better than finding a Chinese made one. So nothing to rare about a MIJ Tama.

Looks like a crazy good deal with all of that hardware!
