When you find a "K" in miscellaneous is always a good deal.

If it were a modern Zildjian cymbal it would be relatively worthless. This is a 1913 to 1920. K Zildjian and Cie Constantinople, which are highly sought after and highly collectible. Not implying that this example is worth a mint, but at $5, it's a hella find.

A small crack like that at the center hole is not usually a fatal flaw tonewise (IME), so for $5 I would snap up any top-of-the-line cymbal as a player.

The fact that it's a 100-year-old K makes it a DEAL. Well done!

+1 on that. Love thrift stores. Got a more recent Zildjian B20 HH top (Z) at Goodwill for 8 bucks.

I now find it difficult to drive by a thrift store.
