Default 20" Istanbul: What can you tell me?

Here are some excellent photos of this great cymbal. I would love to know anything about this cymbal.

Gorgeous! I've never see one with that ink label. Could be one of the names the company went through after Zildjian forced them to change their name and logo. It looks similar to an early stencil-label Istanbul I used to have, especially the lathing. What kinda weight are we looking at there?

That's pretty cool...I agree, a very early Istanbul. Who was the foo who slathered it with duct tape though ????

The weight of the cymbal is 1791 grams. Anybody know anything about this old "SULTAN"?
