There was a thread not too long ago regarding prices and so for at the Hawthorne Drum Shop.
Here's a beauty he has. It's very hard to pass this one up, but pass I must: https://reverb.com/item/36871192-196...pearl-drum-kit |

Since when were beaver tail lugs standard equipment on 1960-issue Rogers drums? I know that the listing says that the drums were sold. Did the original listing state that the drums were a few years newer than 1960 or that the B&B lugs had been replaced with beaver tail lugs? I'm not being negative about that beautiful drum set. I'm just curious about the correctness of the listing.

It's obvious from the tag in the floor tom that this was most likely a 1966 kit. Also, the tag in the 12" tom clearly shows it's from the transition Dayton era. The style of the Swivo tom holder also dates to the Dayton era. Maybe Chris meant to say "1960's"?

I'm not a great authority on all of the traits for the various years of Rogers drums. But, I know that 1960 is incorrect for this drum set. I think that the more inclusive identifier of 1960s is quite acceptable. They resemble my 1966 Dayton drums.
