G'day ,

Wanting to know what both thecREAL&TRUE value of above is worth in both "players" & "collectors" condition?,

As I'm both looking&wanting one in silver sparkle,

BUT DON'T think $1400 is what it's worth(nearly $1900 AUD) currently on fee/prey bay.

Are you looking at the black cortex drum with tom mounting hardware? If so I think it's a bit high in price... Here's a virgin chrome-o-wood version around the $900 mark, which to me is a bit more realistic. You could get the chrome-o-wood one ship it and re-wrap it for less than the black cortex one.

At the price point of that black cortex drum you're looking at you could by a brand new bass drum, which is then yours and all yours, if you know what I mean. I wouldn't get too hung up on thinking that the vintage factor gives some kind of vibe that is unobtainable with todays equipment. I would say that manufacturing quality is better now than it was back in the mythical "mojo" period.
