Default Keystone '69 Acrolite

Acrolite with date stamp inside of Oct. 7 1969 - no serial number - see explanation on that from mlayton (thanks!) below. Some minor nicks/scuffs as expected for a 50 year-old drum. No dints in shell. I've cleaned it up somewhat and retook pictures.

No extra holes, throw-off very smooth, ludwig script butt plate, the upper rim has a very subtle and shallow dint running about an inch that is hard to photograph (you need to be looking for it while viewing the drum) and doesn't seem to effect sound. Muffler intact and working. Set of Pure Sound snare wires and coated ambassador batter.

$195USD plus shippping

From mlaytone on the no serial number keystone badge:

"That's one in which the shell was made for a Blue Olive badge. Instead, it got a Keystone badge which is why the top of the badge is under the hoop. Some of these had no serial numbers and some did. If it did, it would be on the badge. I've had a Supra setup like this and it was from the same time frame as yours. I've got an Acrolite of the same setup from 1970. Neat drum!"

I believe that is a Ludwig keystone, don't think they were out yet when WFL was around.

Yes, common usage is to call these Ludwig rather than WFL. This distinguishes the 50s WFLs from the later Ludwig. But since William F Ludwig is responsible for it either way...
