Thanks for the link to these. I wasn't aware of them! Hard to tell from only one picture, but the ear profile appears to resemble Slingerland. Sure would like to see some better pictures before plunking down $100!!

Hey all....As I mentioned in another thread,if anyone would like a pattern for drilling the shell,I'll happily send one. (Pattern taken off the 70'-71' I recently found) Kind of an interesting drum. Serial #56419,wide clasp non-notched zoomatic strainer,(no holes), a clear interior without paint, and no muffler. I also wanted to say that I bought a piece of WMP wrap off ebay, and I was very impressed with how well the color matched my 65',69',and 71' snares. I contacted the seller, and he told me it came from drumaker.com. I've also ordered a pair of the stick chopper replica rims from drumfactory,so when they arrive we'll see how well they match up........Cheers !

BTW -- this project is done as far as my work is concerned. The customer has his own rims, heads, and snare wires, so it's going to him just as in the last pictures I posted.

And, famousdave, I'd like to have a copy of your pattern. It would have been really helpful when I did this one. I just went with pictures and information gathered (mostly) on this thread, so my drilling was my "best guess." IF I ever do one again it should be much easier!

Thanks,
Bill
