Default Just Ordered Mystery Cymbals...any Guesses?

Anyone one want to guess as to what this cymbal is? It's listed as a 19" misc. crash. I had a coupon and am getting it for $37 shipped. Figured it was worth taking a risk on it. I kinda think it may be a vintage Zildjian but really don't know since this is the only pic I have to go by. Is it flawed thinking to assume it isn't a entry level cymbal since it is a 19" crash? Can't think of any beginner cymbals in the 19" size.

Cool Re: Just Ordered Mystery Cymbals...any Guesses?

Looks like brass...Maybe just the lighting or flash from the camera...

Cheers

Hopefully not, lol. Not sure I have ever seen any 19" brass cymbals before. I'm sure they have been made though

My gut tells me it's an inexpensive stamped brass cymbal. I hope I'm wrong!

I hope you are wrong too, lol. I can't think of any "entry level" or brass cymbals were available in 19"...although, they could have the size down wrong.

Lighting and the flash can make a huge difference. I'm ready for next week to be here, lol. I will check in and let everyone know what it ends up being. Kinda fun with all the anticipation, unless it's a crap cymbal

Yes, lighting and flash can really change things! Looking forward to the final outcome!

Yeah...to pic is very low res. I'm hoping there is more hammering than it appears there is and the white balance is off. Will know early next week

Looks like brass to me too.

Whomever measured it may have measured it right side up across the bell, therefore getting an inaccurate measurement and adding an inch. I bet it's an 18".
