Default Ludwig Transition Badge "Jazz Fest" value?

Hey guys.

Can you help me with a rough range of value for this snare please?

Here are a few pics. It has not been cleaned up.

Thanks!

BEC, you are one of my absolute favourite rock drummers. NOBODY plays like you, NOBODY sounds like you. I can think of no better compliment.

Beautiful snare drum!

Is that estimate based solely on the badge and condition, or is that seemingly uncommon wrap a significant reason for the high price?

That wrap would be the most significant factor. Same drum in same condition in red or blue sparkle or WMP would be a $400-500 drum.

That's what I was thinking. It's all about the rare wrap.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

My first thought before I read the replies was also 2000 at the high mark.
