Default Damn you, snow stoooorm !!
As some of you may already know, the east coast of the U.S and Canada is being pummeled by what i'm praying is the final snow storm of the year. Here in Quebec, we've already accumulated upwards of 35cm. or just over a foot of snow, and it won't stop until Wednesday morning.
We're expecting 40-45cm or just under a foot and half in total here in Montreal, but the eastern part of Quebec will get even more.
Why am i discussing meteorology rather than vintage cymbals you ask ?
I'll be getting to that right now. Just north of here i spotted these babies.
I'll be gigging on Thursday evening about half hr from there in the ski hills of St. Sauveur Quebec, and may be picking these up, if they haven't disappeared already. Sweet deal for the "real deal" of vintage Paiste.. 1970's 15" Paiste sound edge hi hats.. Check out the price, but please, try to contain your "oh my God's and holy moly's !!
If or when i come home with these beauties,I can see my wife's eye's rolling already, saying--"Another set ??" Lord help me !

Hi Dan !

.. I'm definitely NOT a skier !! But it's a monthly acoustic gig at a friend's upscale restaurant, but no drums..
Just me on vocals and a set of bongos, and 2 guitar players. It is beautiful up there though.
The town looks like those north pole Christmas picture postcards when it snows like this.

Thanks for the good luck wish !

Cheers,
Rob

Now that is a great gig. You only have to bring your voice and the bongos. Easy on the back! Enjoy.
