Default Drum hardware storage suggestions

Hi VDF folks,
I need to reorganize my droom (aka drum room) - what suggestions do you have for hardware storage (stands, pedals etc): long plastic bins? Something homemade? Or maybe something originally designed for another purpose? Pictures of what you have would be awesome.
I already have two of the “trap” cases and one long case that has wheels. I’m thinking of something that could fit on shelving.
Thanks!
Jeff

Default Re: Drum hardware storage suggestions

I have slowly converted all of my hardware and small instrument storage on shelves to plastic bins. I will attach some photos that were taken a while ago and are an intermediate stage. Sorry for the fuzzy photography. I mark the sides and top with a black felt tip marker and use some Goof Off to erase the label if I change the contents. I collect pedals and wrap them in cheap cotton bar towels that I buy at Wally World inside the bins. It keeps them from scratching each other and keeps the various parts and beater together in the bin. I used to keep everything in printer paper boxes but that only works up to a certain size. I keep sticks and mallets in the light weight aluminum tool "brief case" boxes that I buy at the big box hardware stores.
