Can anyone tell me what year this 15" Sabian cymbal is from and it's value?
Thanks.

1983-1986ish for this style of Sound Control ink label so far as I have been able to determine. It gets called red or purple depending on how the inks change color over time.

Value? I don't have much data but perhaps around the $100 mark? Some people are fans of these Sound Control crashes (in general) and this particular ink style...but it's about finding those buyers.

T Bruce Whittet is one such fan. That specific 15" model made his list of all time greats: http://www.tbrucewittet.com/2011/12/...-bruce-wittet/
