Default Re: My Story

Thanks guys! I'm not out of the woods yet, still not certain what will happen with condo. I haven't been able to see my wife for over two weeks because of this Covid crap. I'm really trying to stay positive, but it's very difficult.
I did manage to land a better paying job at Walmart, but I can only work 32 hours or it will interfere with my social security. I made a mistake by filing for early retirement, lost a lot of money. But at the time it seemed the best thing to do, I needed to take care of my wife or hire someone to and that would had been expensive.
Anyway, thanks to all who have helped, I sincerely appreciate it.

Cool Re: My Story

Mark,

Were you able to keep your kit? If so, Some seat time will maybe help get your mind off your situation...Even for an hour or so...

Cheers

Ya, I still have my kit, but no place to play it. I had to give up my storage room where I practiced because I just couldn't afford it anymore. The clubs aren't hiring bands, so I'm sorta in limbo. I'm having to cut back on a lot of things, getting rid of cable, I bought an antenna for the TV and not buying as much food. Less trips to restaurants and trying to keep my electric bill down. I have a car payment and insurance that I have to pay and I'm trying to save enough money in case I do have to move to an apartment.
