May I ask a question, and I mean no offense: Don't you ever keep anything? Many of us buy and eventually sell, but you never seem to keep a drumset for more than a couple of months. Am I wrong? If I'm out of line, I apologize!

How dare you, I've actually kept a kit for almost 3 months!
But seriously, you're right, I do go through a lot of kits. It's just something I do, it's fun and since most if the time I trade, it doesn't cost much.
However, this 1965 bdp Leedy is a keeper.

There's some kind of magic about early and mid 1960s Leedy Black Diamond Pearl drum sets. in the past several years, I have bought, traded, and sold a couple dozen drum sets. Most of my drum acquisitions have been through trades. Of all of those drum sets, the one that is not going to anyone else as long as I'm around is my Black Diamond Pearl 1963 Leedy Shelly Manne outfit with 9x13,16x16, 14x20, and matching Shelly Manne 5x14 snare drum.
