I saw these FLIX drums sticks at my local music shoppe. Does anybody use them? If so what color do you use and is your opinion postive or in the negative? There are 5 different colors and from what I gather each color designates a different type of sound. Thanks in advance,V

Have a Rainbow in the bags.
Let's see, Orange, pink w/nylon tip, yellow brushes, light blue, dark blue...
Have saved the day many times.
Sticks too much? Brushes to little? "Drummer, I want that Billy Joel thing..."
Nifty on Djembe and Hand Drums and excellent for warm-up.
Durability is about 3:1 over wooden dowels ( still love those too ) and as they wear the
tips soften up, making a pair broken in softer and more prized.
Rimshots will crack the poly casings from time to time but hey, then I'll mix and match.
You can also move the banding to increase spread if you fancy.
Looking to try a few others soon.
:2Cents:
Additionally made in Scotland, where a few Stix get thrown around...
