Default Re: Original Paiste Giant Beat sizes available 60's-70's?

I'm after/looking for/searching/seeking/wanting a 1973 ONLY black label GB a 18" BUT in "heavy" weight as per Bonham's Paiste agreement/endorsement list.

Default 1st Led Zeppelin album John Bonham Paiste cymbals?

Hi,
Did John Bonham use Paiste Giant Beats on the first Led Zeppelin album or are they Paiste Formula 602's? Hard to tell with the sound. To me they sound like Giant Beats. Maybe you guys know? Thanks! Phil Cormier Leominster, Ma 01453

According to Bonzoleum,
On LZ1 it sounds like "A" Zildjians,
I'm leaning more to 602's or GB's.

Hi,
According to NF-Drums.com on the Paiste fan page there were 7 Giant Beat cymbals with white labels available from 1967-1970. And then from 1971-1975 they were the black labels and there were 8 cymbals available. Maybe there were 16 inch crashes available and 22 inch Ride models that existed after all. Maybe this website is accurate? Or maybe there were special order sizes that you could order from Paiste at that time? Erik Paiste would definitely have the answers to this! Hi,
Did John Bonham use A.Zildjians on the first Led Zeppelin album? Someone mentioned that Bonzoleum has said that they are A. Zildjians? Maybe Paiste Formula 602's and not Giant Beats? Anyone? Phil Cormier
