Just bought another Hayman kit this is a 1968 George Hayman kit. It is in original midnight blue wrap. Comes with new heads but also original used heads plus all cases and more stands. There is some sort of old camco bass drum pedal which I wont be needing with this kit. Going down south Saturday to pick them up. Not much work to do on them. 20..12..13..16..plus snare drum. The drums were originally 4 pce the 12" was bought a couple yrs later to make 5pce also comes with hayman double tom mount as well as single one shown on pic. Too much hardware to show pics of. I know the owner, and this kit has been well looked after over the yrs. More than likely end up in the USA where the other 3 hayman kits were sold to collectors. Have a look at this beauty, more pics to come once I have it.... cheers sean

With the kit there is a camco bass drum pedal anyone know much about these. Think it will end up on the bay not going with this kit. Also the wrap is the midnight blue with the mahogany shells which changed to birch shells once the name went from George Hayman to Hayman. Picking the drums up Saturday from the south of England. Ill share more pics and bags of info once I have them on my operating table hahahahaha......Hayman Sean.

The Camco that you have was the direct descendant of the Gretsch "Floating Action" pedal, and the direct predecessor to the DW 5000. The Camco pedal marketed by Tama years later was not the same as the original Camco. DW had bought the tooling from Gretsch (or Camco?)to manufacture the pedal, but Tama had bought the Camco name. That's my understanding of that, but I'm sure someone could correct me if I'm wrong.

Grantro & oddball I have the kit. Got a few small jobs to finish. A premier 1963 BDP 20..12..14..16..16 and a royal ace...A john grey late 50's early 60's broadway kit with top of range 1958 autocrat wood shell snare drum with super rare wires and factory ink logo inside shell. 20..10..16 plus autocrat snare drum and a set of white bongos all original in near mint condition.....Then its the George hayman kit with mahogany shells and it is a stunner even though it has a few little faults (no biggie) its a beauty. Plus its got the original bass drum mounted cym L arm stand its the original George hayman not a premier like most have. This kit was used by a top pro drummer in 1969 right through to the 90's.
