it's finished, or as finished as I can get it without replacing loads of parts. It's been a mission but it's now a good players kit. I tried to refurbish and retain as many original parts as possible (barring a few washers and one or two screws I have succeeded) but this means it shows its age with the remnants of rust pitting on the chrome and scratches and some discoloration to the wrap. Pretty good considering the starting point and I even worked out a fix for the snare throw.
