Default Help Identifying this Vintage Premier

I just acquired this Steel 8 Lug Premier Snare.
In excellent condition.
I wanted to know the model # and age if possible.
It is in great condition.

Also, approximate resale value

Thank you

Default Re: Help Identifying this Vintage Premier

The age around 1985. Model number is 1005. It was on premiers budget line of drums as per the club series. It was also the exact snare that was also used with olympic drums by premier. Just a budget snare drum. Over here in the UK can usually get them for around 45GBP. Having said that not a bad sounding snare drum.....sean

I have that exact same snare in excellent condition. That is a Chrome over Steele snare drum, and tuned up will cut through anything. Loud ! I use mine with my Premier, and Beverley set's. Sounds great ! Everyone should have a steel snare in their arsenal.
